  All sales are final. 51:20 Blades are made from High carbon steel, meaning they can corrode if not taken care of properly. luckily it is easy to prevent corrosion!

• Always make sure to clean your blade after use and never let it remain wet.

• The best way to prevent corrosion is to wipe your blade with a neutral or food safe oil before storing it.

​

• all high carbon steel will develop a patina over time.  This can be a beautiful thing.  it is something that can be removed fairly easily but most people prefer to leave it as it adds character to the blade.

​

• As you use your blade, the edge may begin to roll over or dull. simply strop the edge on a leather strop or use a honing rod to fix this.

​

• also, using a wood cutting board instead of plastic will greatly extend the life of your knife edge.

​
